I can't tell you the number of times I've become involved with someone, only to make them the centre of my world and slowly but surely lose my identity.
It's a no-fail way to lose the relationship. And yourself!
Nowadays I do a "Weekly Health Check" with myself, set in stone. I ask myself a few key questions to make sure that I remain my own first priority and am keeping balance:
How am I really feeling?
Have I been true to myself this week?
Have I upheld my values?
